Welcome to the Railroaddave Photo Page

So many are so kind as to send photos. Here are a few selections. Mind you, I only post these photos! I have nothing to do with the overall content, so if you would rather see something else, by all means send it along. Please keep them coming, and perhaps we can update this page on a regular basis! New pictures are added at the top, older pictures being pushed to the bottom.

We've made the humor pictures go away - there are plenty of 'funny picture' websites out there.

Instead we've added a page devoted to Train Wreck Pictures

and one for Old Time Railroad Pictures

This wheel slid a long way - and never derailed

Where is this? I know, I took the picture. It's in Indiana, if that's any help?

Dave 'The Cannon' answers correctly -
This is right down Main Street in Lafayette, Indiana.
We picked up our Passengers at the Hotel. All traffic came to a standstill, when the train was in the middle of the road. Two trains a day (each way) used these tracks, our interstate train, The Cardinal, and the Local, The Hoosier State.
Nowadays, the train stops outside of town. The tracks are probably paved over.
